With the release of Obama’s official portrait (incidentally, perhaps the first such portrait to contain EXIF data), I also came across this extraordinary illustration by Patrick Moberg. I wanted to save it for inauguration day, but I don’t have the willpower.

What an interesting collage of the US Presidents….and a vivid reminder of how great a change we have brought in the history of our country. I honestly wondered if I’d ever live to see the day we would break the color barrier at the White House. Some day, there will be a woman on that page, too.

Dylan went to the inauguration – somehow he scored an actual ticket from a friend of a friend of a friend of a Republican Louisiana Congressman. He said it was over-the-top amazing. I was stuck in meetings all day, so I didn’t even get to watch it on the web, let alone tv, let alone in person.
