Pathetic
I’ve been a miserable blogger… it’s a difficult thing to integrate into a busy day.
I was excited to get my beta invitation to daytum last week – see my first attempts here: daytum.com/nate_c.
Life is now a series of meetings interrupted by weekends and vacations.

Write something about the stimulus package. Or, there are new videos on TED talks coming out – the TED conference was last week, or now, or something. Bill Gates let out some mosquitoes into the crowd, that was amusing. Richard Dawkins has an interesting talk that concerns evolution – and there are some good defenses of evolution out recently in honor of Darwin’s 200th birthday. Lots to write about. Hope your meetings are going well, sorry you’re so busy.

I’ve been planning something on the bank bailout – it’s a confusing program and the government hasn’t done a good job educating the public about it. But it keeps changing, and it feels more and more impossible to write about the whole thing in one fell swoop. I guess I’ll start small and publish in installments.
Funny you mention TED – I spent a good deal of my Saturday watching old ted talks on YouTube. There’s a neuroscientist talking about phantom limbs who is cool, and Stephen Pinker on the decline of violence that I enjoyed.

I was on youtube TED site all day yesterday. Lynn was very peeved. But you can learn so much! I liked the magic shows, I think I might use them in class. There is one guy who drives a car while wearing a blindfold, claiming he can see through the passenger’s eyes, another guy who does incredible card tricks.
